An extraordinary international Masterclass in genital surgery was held in Viterbo, bringing together some of Europe’s most renowned specialists in the field. The event, held under the scientific direction of Dr. Alberto Berardi and Prof. Antonio Rizzotto, featured Dr. Gabriele Antonini, a globally recognized authority in penile prosthetic surgery.

The intensive surgical program included four complex implant procedures, comprising two artificial urinary sphincters and two three-piece hydraulic penile prostheses. In addition, Dr. Antonini carried out two complex revision surgeries on malfunctioning implants, one of which was particularly challenging due to the complete fusion between the old prosthesis and the cavernous capsule. The operation was performed with remarkable technical precision and methodological rigor.

The live surgery allowed participants to witness, in real time, highly complex procedures showcasing advanced surgical skills and exemplary infection control measures. The results achieved were outstanding, both functionally and aesthetically.
