An important international meeting organized by the Wilson Foundation directed by Prof Steven Wilson took place in Sarasota, bringing together the major penile prosthesis implanters from all over the world, each representing their own nation. Among the protagonists, the Italian Antonini, the only representative of Italy and a national point of reference thanks to the high number of implants performed annually and at the helm of one of the most important high-volume centers in the country. The presence of numerous specialists from the United States further underlined the level of excellence of the event, considering the size and relevance of the American healthcare system. Antonini shared his clinical and organizational experience, supported by the general manager of the Antonini Urology Clinic, Enrico Gravina, who illustrated the approach to patient management in the path that leads to the choice of the hydraulic penile prosthesis implant. The Italian team obtained widespread acclaim, confirming Antonini among the leading experts at an international level and leader in Italy for aesthetic and functional results. The guest of honor at the meeting was Professor Paul Perito, from Miami, recognized as Antonini’s mentor and a key figure in the development of the minimally invasive infrapubic technique.
