Penile prosthetic surgery: in Rome Dr. Antonini hosts two South American colleagues for an intensive course of the highest level
Dr. Gabriele Antonini recently hosted two esteemed South American colleagues in Rome, at the Antonini Urology functional urology center: Dr. Diego Vasquez Carrillo from Colombia and Dr. Lázaro Deinys Rodríguez from Cuba, both at the forefront of andrological surgery in their countries.
During this intense training experience, seven implants of three-component hydraulic penile prostheses with infrapubic access were performed on patients with different clinical pictures: from simple cases to complex revisions, up to patients suffering from Induratio Penis Plastica (Peyronie’s disease).
The South American colleagues said they were astonished by the technical mastery, the speed and surgical precision, the management of the entire clinical path and above all by the aesthetic and functional impact of the implants on the operated patients.
