The urologist-andrologist: “No media agreement exists and has never been agreed upon, I expect an apology from Lazio”.

“I completely and firmly dissociate myself from the publication of the naked images of Bernabè’s penis on social media” and “I expect a letter of apology from part of the Lazio sports club”. Thus in a note the surgeon Gabriele Antonini, speaking on the diffusion of the post-operative images regarding the implantation of a penile prosthesis performed on the Lazio falconer, images which sparked controversy and led to Bernabè’s dismissal.

Antonini explained that he was never notified or consulted on the publication of such contents, underlining that he considers their dissemination an act detrimental to confidentiality and contrary to professional ethics. He also reiterated that the surgery was intended exclusively for medical purposes to improve the quality of life of the patient suffering from vascular problems or consequences of oncological pathologies.
